From Nov. 20, 2006 till next entry Not even a little peek into our abode this time either... Besides the main street with most of the tavernas and shops, Kalyves has some interesting alleys. One of them starts from the Paraskevi Church in the heart of Kalyves, and leads to Agia Maria Church, and a bit beyond it. The pictures below cover some of the alley (with a few short sidesteps) which is only some hundreds of meters long. ![]() So we'll leave the Paraskevi Church behind and turn around into the alley where... ![]() ...there are eight million alley-cats, and this is one of them... ![]() ...following along the way. ![]() Let's get on. ![]() A short sidestep to the green alley crossing our way... ![]() ...to the back of Agia Maria Church. ![]() A nice spot for a rest beside the church. ![]() Part of the church from the front. ![]() A door at Kalyves 240, just around the corner after the church. ![]() The backyard of the neighbour of Kalyves 240 is entangled with morning glory (päivänkierto in Finnish). ![]() The spot for the handy dreamer wanting a house in Kalyves!
