From Feb. 3, 2007 till next entry

Yesterday's rains, wind, and big noises of the sea urged us today to the cliff with a view overlooking Kalyves.

Araucaria

The last sight before the view is this tree. To us it has always looked liked "the idea" of a Christmas tree. A twinkle here or there on it would make it perfect, if there is a perfect Christmas tree, as an idea. Would rather just have the idea, not the human decoration on it.

The sea towards Akrotiri looked much calmer than we'd expected.

At sea-level, towards the open sea, some bigger waves still remained.

Later on the moon struggled with the clouds, but seemed to come up winning when the night grew older.
But it's still hard to know about tomorrow. On Crete weathers can change quicker than one's thoughts.



In the evening we had interactive enjoyments with the fireplace & a true piece of art on DVD: the immortal Casablanca
Computers with DVD capability are a blessing when one really is not in need of the program flow of TV.
