A perfect day after a disastery yesterday with arguments.
Olle and Anna came over. Olle's chainsaw expertise with our oversized olive logs was most valuable!
I only assisted.
Our ladies exchanged views on psychology and greek linguistics, while we men were performing one of the few actions men are still needed for :-)

After the work we enjoyed Kiti's meal with Anna and Olle! And talked! Both things are most pleasant when we meet!
And later Kiti and Hannu went down to the village to buy a decent coffee-machine, pleasant slippers for Kiti, and a (3rd) thermometer to see if we are freezing at home, or not :-)

Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 - Kalyves

Seeing a cow in Crete is such a rare thing that Hannu had to drive first to our house to pick up the camera, and then back to the cow. Fortunately the cow was spotted less than 1 km away from the house :-)))

The only cow in Kalyves! A truly holy creature. No wonder she has a nice necklace to adorn her!
