It's all there!

My sister , Nemea, daughter of Agiorgitiko, witnessed - and it was not more than a week ago - a time-jumb that only intellectual manouvering in real history is able to achieve. She witnessed the destruction of a lost legend - Atlantis. And somnambulistically she was amputated into a vessel of clay which she personally saw, or envisioned, to bring an end to the minoan culture - even to Minos himself, if Nemea's visions are to be trusted.

In real history , or in a reality being unzipped from it's pretensions, and taking a standpoint of BEING HERE NOW, I'm a bit confused because Nemea must have hit IRAKLION to bring an end to a civilisation. - Just to help your spelling, the name is: IRAK-lion.

Nemea was a young girl then. Her fate was inevitably bound with the invevitabilities of the natural world - her fathers' garden, her chlorophyllous mothers, her pink-beings, the tremor...

Should we be as helpless? Or perhaps we must confess that our inevitabilities are only our rather helpless unabilities?

With the cortex a bit cooled down, I'd like to get really primitive! Up to the point of zen... - Sorry, it's only zin. - So: Up to the point of zinfandel.

With new, immigrant cultures , like California, it was easy, and necessary, to plant vines from Italy, France, Spain, Greece, etc. Even, perhaps, from Croatia. And it played a big role in becoming professional with ancestral heritage. - In a new environment that means also a lot of marketing, a plentitude of objects to market to, a lot of money - but also a lot of personal commitment. All that is achieved at best, but one thought though; "When our forefathers brought onto this continent a vine, we promised to give it ZEN, a true spirit from our earth." That should be written in bold on the walls of every estate growing zinfandel - just to remember the common ground and heritage shared with primitivo. - And why is it important? - Because it's not more important than remembering that we are at our best when we remember the many things we share to plant. It's only a fraction of that memory.
