Vincon Vrancea Classic Pinot Noir 1995. Already on the mature side. Yes, it's been some two years in the barrel. And the Rumanian barrels aren't bad at all. - And it's a pleasure to make your festive people take off their funny noses and put their real ones to the brim of the glass: dark scents, and lots of grape flesh. The taste: a soft, nimble character pleasing many food orientations. And behind it all, a good, medium bodied structure. An enjoyable Noir in an inexpensive Pinot.
