There are 5 million stories in Finnham country. This is one of them - but it could not have been possible there. Instead another territory was needed: the streets of London. But the reader is left alone to find out the reason why the two unlikely characters of this story got there together in the first place, instead of being somewhere else...
In the odd sunshine of the scene we see two dark figures walking very softly, and very close together towards the Underground entrance. But that is getting ahead of the story - just keep the vision in mind. So, let's give our characters a chance to meet first.
-Meeow! Where have you been, you rat of a man? What is that smell on you? You haven't been with another cat, have you? There's something creamy in the air. Meeow!-
-My name is Bat, Bat Batman, my dear Catwoman, and Oddbins doesn't have cats, nor rats for that matter. Something must have stuck on my wings. It's so hard to fold them properly.-
-Let me sniff and lick your wing. I can tell the difference. Meeow! I know Oddbins! That place has too many temptations.- Catwoman leans on Bat's wing with her tongue. -I knew it was cream, but the very tempting virtual kind. Meeow! The kind that softens the spice. My dog! You haven't been with those girls, have you?!-
-Let me liff and snick. Sorry. It's so confusing. (Blushing. Though it's hard to see through the mask.) Just give me space to put my nose and tongue there, too. - Yes! Something very elegant seems to be there. Like raspberries with pepper. How very odd. No ordinary stuff at all, my dear Kiti. Lingers there pleasantly, wouldn't you say? Not a bit of aggression, or coming-on. But a rather classical taste, don't you think? And interestingly different, I'd say. Cat Sauvignon doesn't quite have the same perk in it's softer forms. A nice lot of acids mixed there, too. But it's the soft work done on the grape that really turns you on, doesn't it?-
-I'll give you some lingering lingua and tongering tongua if you don't reveal everything in your wings! Meeeeeeow!-
-Honestly? Now just let me see. First there was a smile on the shelf. You know the kind that first has a cat with it, and then the cat disappears, and - I see you know. So, just underneath it there was just this bottle.- Batman unfolds his left wing, and reveals a white bottle filled with black liquid. Is it a Moltov coctail, is it a poisonous acid, or is it just fine wine? -Just look up, Kiti. It's all here, there, and everywhere. I bought it for you!-
-Meeeeeoow! Purrrr, purrrr! I knew it from the very start. You rat of a bat. There's something for you, too. I was in the other Oddbins!- And she starts wiggling her tail to the strong beats of the streets, and walks rhytmically on the sidewalk.
There's a somewhat amazed look in Bat's eyes, and then a smile. - In the odd sunshine of the scene we see two dark figures walking very softly, licking mildly spicy cheeks, and staying very close together. They seem to be heading towards the Underground entrance.
